About

  Jenna Barnes is a Partner in Adeptus’ Tax & Advisory practice, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Jenna brings a cross-disciplinary background that spans law, tax, and finance. Before joining Adeptus, she founded JBG Law, PLLC, a boutique private client and business law firm based in Frisco, Texas, where she advises entrepreneurs, executives, and families on asset protection, estate planning, tax strategy, and business succession. She continues to lead JBG Law alongside her role at Adeptus. Prior to practicing law, Jenna spent nearly a decade in public tax accounting, auditing financial institutions and nonprofits and advising clients on tax planning and compliance. She also served as President of Shamrock Capital, Inc., a private investment corporation overseeing angel investments, private equity, and real estate. Jenna has co-founded a nonprofit serving 14 counties in West Texas and co-owned a regional security firm. She is dedicated to helping business owners protect what they’ve built and plan for what comes next. Outside the office, Jenna is passionate about her family and legacy preservation. She enjoys tennis, Pilates, and being in the wide open spaces of North Texas.
