Bruce Kolbrenner is a Managing Partner in the Business Management Division of Adeptus. As the Managing Partner of Adeptus, Bruce runs the Los Angeles office. He is highly respected in the music industry for advising young artists from the start of their career to international stardom. Bruce brings over four decades of financial expertise in the music business, with many of his mentees achieving Grammy-winning success. His domestic and international expertise includes all facets of accounting and business management for high-net-worth individuals in the entertainment industries and their affiliated entities. After being appointed as the Vice President/Director of Royalties for Atlantic and Elektra Records, Bruce founded his own accounting and business management practices in New York and Los Angeles. His impact has been instrumental in numerous significant music business events, including serving as the Chief Financial Officer for the Moscow Music Peace Festival. This historic event, the first and only one of its kind ever held in Russia, featured legendary hard rock and heavy metal acts like Bon Jovi and Motley Crue and drew a crowd of over 100,000 attendees. Bruce’s experience extends to the courtroom, where he's utilized his vast knowledge in a number of high-profile music industry rulings. For three decades, he has testified in cases such as TVT Records v. the Island Def Jam Music Group and the "Blurred Lines" copyright infringement case. He continues to represent both up-and-coming and legacy acts both domestically and internationally.
