Avi Lazerowitz

About

Avi Lazerowitz is a Partner in the Audit Division of Adeptus. Avi has 25 years’ experience in accounting, auditing, and tax consulting services for not-for-profit social service organizations, foundations, schools, membership associations and health care organizations. Avi has planned, conducted and led audits of not-for-profit community health centers, associations, hospitals, home care agencies, health maintenance organizations, private foundations, schools and social service agencies. He has developed sampling plans for tests of account balances and compliance, prepared work papers, drafted financial statements, footnotes and accountants’ reports and responded to and cleared quality review comments. He has conducted audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, government audit standards and requirements under Uniform Guidance, requirements of Federally Qualified Health Centers, NYS compliance reporting on Ambulatory Health Care Facility (AHCF-1), Medicaid Cost Reports and audited NYS Consolidated Fiscal Reports for grant and service fee reimbursements provided by various state agencies. Avi received his BS in Accounting from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University.
